National American University (NAU) is an online higher education institution serving students across the United States and Canada, focused on providing flexible, career-oriented learning opportunities.

 

The Maverick Mindset campaign was developed to modernize NAU’s visual identity and increase brand awareness among a more contemporary, career-driven audience.

 

Rooted in NAU’s maverick mascot, the concept celebrates individuality, ambition, and unconventional paths to success—reframing the “maverick” as a mindset defined by resilience, independence, and forward momentum.

 

A refreshed visual system and messaging framework were created to inspire prospective students to take ownership of their growth. Bold, modern creative paired with motivational storytelling positioned NAU as a catalyst for personal and professional transformation.
